Colton Thompson This website was made from scratch by making word documents and saving them as web pages (HTML files) then changing various things related to style in the HTML and CSS. The repository holding the base files may be found here. The website theme fits the underling theme of personal narratives as a website could be quite intuitively compared to a person. Most often you only see what is obvious, on the outside. Sometimes you might hit f12 and look around in HTML, but you won't understand it. Not unless you really take your time and know what you are looking at. Generally, only the people that are closest to the project really know what the code is that makes up the website and why. This is similar to a person as you have experiences that make up you. Generally, only your closest friends and family will have an adequate understanding of what that is. I chose this theme because I like coding and never want to pass over an opportunity to learn a new skill. I have been coding since my dad started teaching me in second grade and then later in middle school, and now high school. Granted web design is far different from standard coding, but the same idea is still there. |
